Dear Valued Colleague:

It is with great regret that we inform you of our decision to cancel the 2007 Houston Home & Interior Design Show. At RJC Productions, our goal is excellence and we strive to provide our customers with the most professional and profitable home show experience possible.  We spend more money on advertising, public relations and “show décor” than any show producer in Houston in an attempt to achieve this goal.

Unfortunately, Reliant Center has made a decision to move our show from September to the first weekend in August.  This would put the HHID Show 3 weeks prior to the start of school each year and we feel this is not a good time for a home show. 

Given these circumstances, accompanied by the saturation of home shows in the Houston market, we no longer feel we can deliver the volume of attendance for the HHID Show that meets RJC Productions standards. Therefore, we have made the decision to close the show rather than deliver a less than excellent product.

As many of you know, we launched our first event in Katy this year – the Katy Home & Garden Show – and it was an overwhelming success!  Going forward, we will focus our efforts on producing high quality, well attended events in the ever growing Katy market and hope we have the opportunity to work with you on these shows.
